Membership Criteria

Our membership is carefully curated to ensure a community of like-minded peers who bring expertise, influence, and a commitment to elevating one another.

We evaluate applicants based on the following criteria:

1. Strong Connection to the Lakes Region

Members must demonstrate a deep appreciation for the Lakes Region, whether through long-standing personal ties, community involvement, or a vested interest in its growth and prosperity.

2. Residency in the Lakes Region

Eligible members must either:

  • Maintain a primary residence in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, or

  • Own a secondary residence in the area

3. Accredited Investor Status

Interlaken members must qualify as accredited investors, as defined by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This includes at least one of the following:

  • Income Qualification: Earned $200,000 individually (or $300,000 jointly with a spouse/partner) in each of the last two years and expect the same for the current year.

  • Net Worth Qualification: Have a net worth of at least $1 million, excluding the value of a primary residence.

  • Entity Qualification: Own a business, trust, or investment entity with assets over $5 million or be an executive, director, or general partner of a private fund.

4. Accomplished Professional Career or Business Ownership

We welcome members from a broad range of industries and backgrounds, ensuring a diverse yet high-caliber network. Eligible applicants must meet one of the following:

  • Accomplished professionals with a track record of leadership, expertise, and influence in their field. Titles commonly include C-level executives, founders, partners, senior advisors, and board members.

  • Business owners based in the Lakes Region who have built or lead successful ventures that contribute to the economic and cultural fabric of the area.
